Set sail with Seahorse Boat Trips, the longest established pleasure boat business in St Ives!
The Seahorse is the most recognised pleasure boat name in St Ives with a place in the history books of the town. Running since the 1960’s, there is no other operator with the memories carved that we have!
Over the years, the vessels have changed with the times but our current 10 meter Aquastar provides a safe, comfortable ride with plenty of space and seating for all, as well as a canopy cover for those rainy days. She is equipped with all safety equipment and approved under MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) regulations. Our experienced team, whether on land or sea, have a vast amount of local knowledge and relish sharing that with our customers. One thing that has remained the same over all the decades, is the distinctive Seahorse orange. You can’t miss us!
Seahorse will always be remembered as “Marshy’s” – John Marsh, owner since the 1960’s and pictured here with his partner Mel.
Before Marshy passed away in 2023 he ensured he handed over Seahorse to people he knew would look after her and keep her going for as long as possible. Andy and Leanne, who also run Tiger Lilly Boat Trips St Ives, were given the helm and continue to pour love and commitment into Seahorse and the service she provides to customers.
With an established team and great ethic, we very much hope to become a part of memories made in St Ives for visitors and locals alike.
