Arriving for Your Trip

St Ives is known as much for its beauty as for its traffic! Particularly through the peak school holidays, it is a very popular tourist destination and gets extremely busy from very early on each day. We cannot emphasise enough the importance of allowing plenty of time to find parking, if you decide to drive. Some of the larger car parks are out of the town centre and they do provide Hoppa buses but please be aware you may also need to factor in a short wait for these. (Buses from St Ives Leisure Centre and St Ives Rugby Club car parks).

We request that you aim to be at our check in point – Seahorse desk, St Ives harbour old slipway, TR26 1LH (see map pin below) no less than 30 minutes before your trip departure time. This gives us enough time to issue lifejackets and safety briefing as well as allowing for a relaxed short walk to the boarding point.

We do recommend taking the scenic train journey from St Erth into St Ives as the least stressful way of arriving to the town. You can park there all day and trains are frequent, running until late and are reasonably priced.
Park and Ride St Erth Station: TR27 6JW

If you are driving, the following are the larger car parks with Hoppa buses to town and back:
Leisure Centre: TR26 1HB
Rugby Club: TR26 1ER
